It is with heavy sentiment to announce that I will abandon Clip Studio Paint for mobile. In recent months, I have been using my sketchbooks to paint with watercolors. Additionally, I have not drawn character artwork, as I feel no sense of urgency in working on it. More characters will come, but now is not the time to draw them.

I have also decided to quit Medly after seven years of use. I have lost all motivation and ideas for original compositions, and I feel the last tracks I made are unprofessional for their intended quality. The music I made for CRiTORA will be unaffected.

It will take at least one year for me to draw digital art and compose music again. Despite this, I still have awesome stuff to share for the remainder of 2024 and the first half of 2025, so keep your eyes peeled. Scatterblock and Power Drive will see simultaneous development.

No more songs will launch for the rest of 2024.

This year, I have been extremely short on ideas. When I had the ideas, I didn't have the time. When I had the time, I didn't have the motivation. And it cycles back.

I had two awesome releases in store:

• Best Day Ever (DX): I had originally scheduled this song to launch on May 1st, 2024, just in time for Spongebob's 25th Anniversary. The song was complete, but I hadn't made any artwork. I had originally pushed this song's release until November 2024, in honor of Stephen Hillenburg. It wouldn't be morally right to launch a happy song on a sad day, so I'm pushing this song's release until sometime in Spring 2025.
• The Astronaut: I had started work on this cover early this year, but its progress stood slow. I scheduled this launch for June 13th, 2024, in time for BTS Festa. However, the song was never finished in time, and I wanted to originally schedule this for an Early December 2024 launch -in time for Jin's birthday, but the given circumstances force this song's release to be rescheduled until December 2025.

From the creator of Reckon Crystal and Fugitive Eagleton (that's me) comes a new, knobby-blobby project with creatures as wacky as their home! While I have authorized my friend Daydreaming Birdie to make an animated teaser for it, it will not be an animated project.

Further development on LastyGhost Wiki continues! This time, I want to introduce another type of asset I hinted at in the Spring 2024 log: Country flags!

These flags will further shape the character's identity and will roll out in certain articles later today. Even though only one planet is parallel to Earth -Earthoon, these flags will still be included in characters not from Earthoon to give an idea of where they might be from if they lived in the real world.

A few days ago -pretty much last week- I removed all A-rated content from my page and the announcement post of Decalounge. After finally receiving criticism regarding why it wasn't shown, I have opened my eyes to the truth:

• My art style can be seen as "childish": While my current art style is the result of years of learning anatomy and comprehending how things work, if someone were to look at my art with no idea of who I am, they'd think I'm not of the legal age.
• The lie of "tasteful" adult content: I was once told that my art of that category was "tasteful". But after I was criticized, I learned that no piece of adult content was or is ever "tasteful", as it's intended to evoke desire -no matter how tamed it is.
• I aimed to please audiences by drawing things I wasn't comfortable with: While I 'fortunately' did not do this, I had plans to draw stuff I wasn't comfortable with. I've always been tamed even with stuff involving monsters, but I wanted to go beyond this. I was discomforted with way too many things people like (and in some cases it's unfortunate), and it was the first sign that such content was never for me. A sign I ignored completely.
• I expected immediate results: Everyone who has drawn adult art has seen immediate success with their work, regardless of the style it's drawn in. Naturally, I expected the same when first stepping into that territory. I expected way too much, especially when I opened my -now closed- Patreon page with a tier for adult content. I never got Patrons in that tier, which further drained my morale, as I kept drawing it with no one to look at it. That was initially why I ended up posting it here for free. Alas... I still had nobody to look at it, for all reasons mentioned above.

I will still draw/post the following, as it's not qualified as adult content:

• Blood/Gore (cartoony or anatomic)
• Body horror. (and horror in general)
• Vent art.
• Naked female chests without sexual intent.
• Revealing clothes (such as bikinis) without sexual intent.
• Clean depictions of potentially suggestive scenes (with 'clean', I mean that the characters are mostly or fully clothed -or at least have their areas covered- and aren't touching any important zones)

Thanks for your comprehension, and if you, by any chance, want to look at my art in that regard, don't even try to convince me to do so. And if you dare to upload my adult ARMS fanart to other sites, I'll report you, as I have never permitted you (or anyone) to do so.



If you still dare to draw adult art of my characters, I'LL REPORT AND BLOCK YOU. If you see someone drawing this type of work, report it to me immediately and I'll take care of it.

Hello.

After one year of inactivity, and as I'm uncertain when I will get an active payment method again, I have decided to shut down my Patreon page. It had been active since the end of 2020, but its use became more sporadic during the first half of 2023, reaching a full stop sometime by August.

Between the content I exclusively posted on my tiers were sketches, prompt access to my songs, prompt access to chapters of Reckon Crystal, and mature content, with this last one reserved for higher tiers. Since I had no Patrons on higher tiers by 2023, I started posting the mature content I drew on this page.

However, now that I am getting my art to be known to locals where I live and study, I plan to remove that content from everywhere. When I open new monetary support pages, I will notify you when I get enough work posted. I have a lot of work I've done during the past and current years, and I cannot wait to put merchandise themed after it for sale in the corresponding networks except for Redbubble.

Project accomplishments:

• Fugitive Eagleton has begun progress! I did say I was going to take it slow for the rest of the year, but I can assure you I'll begin 2024 retaking the project where I left off! In hopes of finally having ideas for Part 2 Chapter 2. However, I promise to finish the story by the end of 2024 -or at the very least, Early 2025.
• CRiTORA: Abnormal not only has been rebooted, but it has also been completed! With a more lighthearted and comedic story, Daydreaming Birdie and I have given this years-old idea a definitive shape. It has done amazing in his Wattpad, so be sure to read it there, in Quotev, and DeviantArt!
• Reckon Crystal 2 was officially announced! I know I haven't started polishing Reckon Crystal's story -as I have yet to have a better story structure and continue polishing my writing, but the next part of Earthstar and Lancerrow's adventure awaits! Final reminder its Prologue and Part 1 will launch on January 5th.

Personal goals:

• Thanks to my painting classes and Sacktoon, I have uncovered the full extent of my skills: Before then, I hardly did traditional art as I barely knew how each type of paint was used. I've learned, not only how they work, but I've put them into action! Sure, watercolors are less slow and easier to manage as I have brushes with water cartridges, but knowing acrylic and oil helps! (I just haven't painted much with oil because the weather hasn't been great)
• I've traveled to Italy! This was a huge step in my horizons, not only because it was a different country, but because it was a different continent! I don't think I'll ever share pictures of my stay aside from the drawings I've made over there -but painted when I got home, but I can assure you it was a blast.
• I've made my first Kickstarter contribution! Why is this important? Because it marks the first instance in which I monetarily support a person -or a group of people- I follow. As soon as I open a new bank account, I'll continue -even if sporadically and in smaller payments- giving support to other things I follow.

What's next for 2024?

• 2024 cover artwork theme: Digital.
• I will try composing more original songs: the repertoires of 2022 and 2023 have been mostly remixes. I might like doing them, but they're not what will represent me should I catch a studio's attention. That doesn't mean I won't compose any remixes in 2024, but I'll do my best to keep them to a minimum.
• Efforts to improve accessibility across my sites will continue development, but I still must warm up slightly.
• Who knows what else may I have in store...

Additionally, here's my 2023 Art Summary! Not everything listed here got uploaded here, but I'll try to make next year different when it comes to activity!

Apologies for the inactivity nowadays; I haven't been drawing -more so, coloring- much and I've been busy with my projects, but I'll be sure to continue providing you with artwork, and that shall be one of my purposes for 2024! (Who knows, I might even add variety to what I draw...)

Additionally, I want to announce CRiTORA: Abnormal's Chapter 9 is now available to read, and Chapter 10 is coming November 10th, 2023! That's 10 days from now!
